[Quick Report] Antarctic sea ice extent hits the second lowest
The Antarctic sea ice extent reached the yearly minimum on 18th February 2024, which is the second lowest in the satellite observation era, following February 2023, the lowest.
JAXA will continue monitoring sea ice variations (JASMES for sea ice).
