[Quick Report] Global sea surface temperature in September 2024 observed by AMSR2

The global monthly average of sea surface temperature in September 2024 was the same as that in the preceding month (Fig. 1). Anomalously warm conditions were observed in mid-latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere, such as around Japan (Fig. 2).
