FY2026 The Joint PI Meeting of JAXA Earth Observation Missions

Last Update: 2026.06.24

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will hold “FY2026 The Joint PI Meeting of JAXA Earth Observation Missions” from November 16 to 20, 2026 as follows. The meeting will be held in-person to deepen engagement and some sessions will be held online as well.

This meeting aims to promote collaboration among the JAXA Earth Observation Research Programs and the Satellite Projects (GCOM-W, AMSR3, GCOM-C, GPM, EarthCARE, ALOS-2, ALOS-4, and MOLI) through the reports from the Principal Investigators (PIs) of each research project (including Multidisciplinary Application) belonging to each group. We are also considering holding a poster session as an opportunity to show many research results. Details will be announced once they are finalized. Participation will be, in principle, limited to PIs and CIs.

Project progress reports from the satellite project managers and a topical session will be provided on November 16, 2026. We look forward to your participation.
